The first half of 2020 is over and we can already say that this is the most memorable year of this century. In January, no one in the Netherlands had thought that the coronavirus would have such a big impact on our lives. Three months later, everything suddenly looks a lot different. Schools are closing their doors, teamsports has been suspended, pubs and restaurants had to close its doors and above all, we had to live 1.5 meters apart from each other. It required a great amount of improvisation for entrepreneurs. Although we have missed each other by working from home, it is precisely that improvisation that ensures that we, at The Dare Company, look back positively on the past six months.
Entrepreneurs were forced to step out of their comfort zone, as a result of which a large number of new concepts have been launched. For example, restaurants have decided to deliver their dishes to the guests' homes. Event organizers still provide the ultimate event feeling by offering Event@Home boxes. Gyms offer their members Instagram livestreams so they can do their workout at home, and escape rooms develop their own puzzles and games to play at home. It is just a small selection of the innovative ideas that have emerged in recent months. Our task is to support our customers in taking their new path. That is what we are good at and we are happy to help you with that. So don't hesitate to discuss this with us.
The new projects of Dutch entrepreneurs require the necessary adjustments in (online) marketing, web development and design. Let us just have that knowledge and expertise in house at The Dare Company. For example, we already helped with the development of the Shiki Sushi & Lounge webshop, so they could switch to fooddelivery in no time. We are also setting up online marketing campaigns to bring the Event@Home box of Advance Events to the attention of companies. Naturally, our other projects continued as usual. For example, the websites of Hoebink and Basro, among others, have been launched in recent months and the new websites of Vlietkinderen and New People's Business are currently being finalized. We have developed a new corporate identity for Brouwers Consultancy and Hoebink and for the Smoothie Club it’s also on it’s way.
Now that most restrictions will be neutralised from July 1st, we are happy to be able to work with a number of people at the office again. Everyone is needed to support companies in the coming months with our knowledge and expertise in the development of their new projects and concepts.
