What is the difference between traditional marketing and online marketing?

Traditional marketing includes marketing expressions such as flyers, posters, magazines, etc. Online marketing is about promoting the organisation online and making it visible. What works best for you depends on your organisation and industry. That is why we would like to sit down with you to discuss the possibilities.

What is the difference between a flyer, a leaflet and a brochure?

Flyers, leaflets and brochures are regularly produced within our design unit. But what is the difference between these three paper products? A flyer consists of one unfolded sheet. A leaflet is folded one or more times so that you get multiple pages: if you fold once, you get one front and back and two inside pages. With a wrap fold or zigzag fold, a sheet is folded two or more times. This allows you to divide a leaflet into multiple texts and images and you have control over what the reader is first to see. A brochure is 'broached'; this means that it contains several sheets that are attached to each other in one way or another. This is possible with staples or with a sewing stitch, for example. The sheets are often folded together, so that a brochure usually consists of a multiple of four pages. Do you want to know more about the possibilities in printing? Then contact one of our designers.

What is the difference between full color printing (CMYK) and printing in PMS colors?

'Full colour' printing consists of the four standard 'process colours': Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Key (black). Most colours can be created with these four. In particular, printed matter in which colour photographs are used is printed in CMYK. If a company wants to implement a special set of corporate identity colours and wants to be sure that these colours are always printed the same, it is advisable to use PMS or "Pantone Matching System" colours. These can be found in a special colour range. PMS printing is usually done in a maximum of two colours, because otherwise it is quite expensive. PMS is also applied when a special colour is used that cannot be mixed with the CMYK colours. Gold, metallic or fluor are examples of this. These can also be printed as extra printing with CMYK printed matter, to give a brochure something extra. For an impression of the printed matter that we have supplied for our customers in the past, you can take a look at our portfolio.

What is the difference between RGB and CMYK colors in a file?

If you deliver photos to a print-shop, design agency, magazine or other companies involved in printing, you will usually be asked for CMYK colors. These are the printing colors: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Keycolor (black). If you have to deliver digital work, for example for a website, then image that is built up in RGB is sufficient. RGB stands for Red, Green and Blue. These are the colors of light that make up a screen. Because a screen consists of light, RGB colors can be made much brighter than CMYK colors on paper. A fluorescent colour will come into its own on a screen, but if you print the same image with your printer, it will be less likely to pop off your paper. Curious? Our designers can tell you all about colors and printing. You can contact them here.

Why is online marketing important?

Although traditional marketing does not always suit an organisation, online marketing is suitable for every company. You can also reach many more people online than with offline content. In addition, online marketing is often cheaper, easier to implement and also measurable.

What does 'SEO' and 'SEA' mean and what is the difference?

Within online marketing you often come across the terms 'SEO' and 'SEA'. These stand for 'Search Engine Optimisation' and 'Search Engine Advertising', or search engine optimisation and online advertisements. These two techniques are aimed at making websites easier to find and getting traffic to websites. With SEO this is done in organic, non-paid ways. And with SEA you pay by placing advertisements and getting people to your website that way.

Why do I need SEO?

In order for a website to be found, your website must be clear and useful. Not only technically, but also in terms of message and text. After all, you want the right people to find you. That is why a properly functioning website with correct texts is very important. And if you don't know where to start, we can of course help you.

What is linkbuilding?

Websites have power; linkforce. A website gets this power from other websites that have placed a link to the website in question. And this also contributes to the findability of your website. That is why it is important to actively place links to other websites and to get links from websites, in order to improve the 'ranking' of your website.

Why should I outsource my social media?

We understand that maintaining the various social media platforms is very important for your company, but this can also be a challenge. For example, if you do not have enough resources, posting structurally can be too much work. We can take care of the entire maintenance of your social media channels, but we can also support your company with social media services. In this way our social media experts can think about creative concepts, a content calendar and our designers can ensure that your posts look nice and engage your followers. And that is just a selection of all the things that we can do for you. For more information about our services we refer you to our expertise page or you can contact us here.

On which platforms can you post content?

Our existing customers mainly request services for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. But it doesn't stop there. If a customer prefers to be active online on a different platform, our social media experts will certainly do this for them. You ask, we deliver!

What's a SSL certificate?

Sometimes it's all about the details. This also goes for an SSL certificate. This is an aspect of your website that hardly stands out, but has a lot of impact! An SSL certificate ensures better security of the data that is sent from the server to your internet browser and vice versa. You can actually see it as a security layer, which means that data cannot be intercepted en route. This way, visitors can safely visit your website. We can ensure that an SSL certificate is installed on your website, so that you can guarantee the safety of your website visitors.

How do you make a website?

Websites can be created in many ways, but we use our own CMS. CMS stands for Content Management System and is a software application through which your website can be easily adjusted and updated. Because we have built our own CMS, we can ensure that this is completely in line with your wishes!

Can you develop more than just websites?

Yes sir! We have previously developed various programs and tools, such as our own mail system 'Dare To Mail' and 'E-ventation', our online program for sending digital invitations. Furthermore, it is also possible for us to develop a system for franchise marketing services, as we have realised for the BABOR Institutes.
